***Let's all be adults here and not name call because you don't get your way. Also...in another instance, do not threaten me, especially when you've only been a member of findagrave for three days.***

*PET PEEVE: Edits being declined for "gender issues." There are two choices, Male or Female. What is the harm in filling in that little circle and specifying a gender? That's why the option is there. Pick one. It's not that difficult. I'm sure the deceased wasn't concerned with wokeness.*

Be nice. Be courteous. Be humble. Be kind. --until you're pushed too far.

Rudeness will be returned as it is given.

**Please do not ask me to add periods after initials. I will not do it.**

***Please refrain from sending a large amount of edits/suggestions all on the same day! ***

****Please take the time to make sure your edits and suggestions are correct. So many errors people are sending me...and this is why it takes extra time for other edits. I don't enjoy hitting decline but I will when I find errors...****

*PLEASE DO NOT REPEATEDLY SEND ME THE SAME EDIT REQUESTS AFTER THEY WERE DENIED. IF THEY ARE SENT MORE THAN TWICE, I WILL SEND A MESSAGE TO FIND-A-GRAVE WITH COPIES OF THE REQUESTS, YOUR NAME AND CONTRIBUTOR #.*

**If I can't verify your edit request, I will deny it.**

==========

Also, if you are sending edit requests, please be kind enough to respond if I send you questions regarding those edits. I will not wait forever for a response and will decline them.

*Before requesting a memorial to be transferred, please keep in mind that I might also have a familial, friend, client connection to many of the memorials under my management. I have done a lot of digging for some of the information and location of burials for several memorials and I am attached to them. They mean something to me. That's just the way I work. I also manage memorials for other contributors that aren't my relatives, but theirs. I am keeping them for now, until they ask for them back. I will not transfer those.*

**Before suggesting edits for a name to be changed to Jr. or Sr., or II, III or IV, please send documentation. I will not accept those edits unless I find information with the specific suffix listed. There have been errors made because of people assuming someone has a suffix at the end of their name.**

~~~
***Not responsible for errors pertaining to memorials I have been entrusted with or have taken management of before I get a chance to go through them.***
****If you have edit requests, please add b. certs, death certs, obits or other info to verify your suggestions. Some contributors don't appreciate having that information on the memorials they maintain. I welcome them. This is a public site after all. It makes it easier for me to go through edits. Plus, most people coming to this site are looking for information about their loved ones. I get so many thank you messages and emails for providing info that they've never seen. Sometimes we're the link to helping solve a mystery! That's such a great feeling! :)****
*****I appreciate all the positive feedback from other contributors and friends I've made on this site regarding memorials I've created or maintain. It truly means a lot. My goal is to correct, link, add obits, photos, and simply care for each memorial I maintain. Accurate information is so important!*****
******I am currently working on correcting and editing memorials in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso, IN, Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox, IN and Saint John's Lutheran Cemetery in Wanatah, IN. I've also been doing work in Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery, Porter County, IN, Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Porter County, IN, Graceland Township Cemetery in Kouts; Memorial Park Cemetery in Valparaiso, Mosier Cemetery in Porter County, IN, and San Pierre Cemetery, Starke County, IN. There are others but most of the time I spend here is regarding Porter, Lake, LaPorte, Jasper and Starke Counties in Indiana. Those counties are mainly where my Batzka/Werner/Bogan/Edwards family ties come in.******
I enjoy walking through cemeteries. I find peace and solace in some ways, and in others, I wonder...wonder who each person was. What did they enjoy about their lives? Did they have children? What happened? What's each individual story? I love researching and sharing their stories. Whether it be from pictures I've obtained through family members, friends, or newspaper clippings, each and every life matters. Each person resting in a cemetery has a story tell. We're their voices now. It's our job to keep their memories alive and relevant. History should be shared, not overlooked and forgotten.
Many of the memorials I've created or maintain are connected to me and my family in some way. There are also quite a few memorials that I have taken management of that need some TLC. Many need to be linked to their family members, etc. IMO, it's only fitting that even in death, simply remembered by a memorial, they should be linked to their family members, as they were in life.
If you have suggestions, edits or transfer requests, please use the edit tab. I ask that you be kind and courteous. Rude people are a total turnoff and will be treated as such. I've "met" many wonderful people on this site, and yet, there are those that are an ugly exception.
