RE: Missing Veteran
Thank you Albert, I really appreciate your quick response.

This man's sister is about 90 years old and she assured me that he was buried in St. Bartholomew's Cemetery in Wilmore, Cambria, Pennsylvania.

I will enter all the information I have about him.

Missing Veteran
I was told by Steve A. Zaher's younger sister that he is interred in St. Bartholomew Cemetery in the family plot. However when I look for him in the Find-a-Grave web site he is a no show. This man is a Veteran of WWII and should not be forgotten.

Marcia Bogle Walden
I am searching for my grt grandmother's grave Isabelle Wilt Bogle.

She was married to John Vincent Bogle and lived in Newry or Martinsburg, PA.

She was raised Lutheran but abt 1885 she was baptized in St. Patrick's Catholic CHURCH IN NEWRY. I FOUND THIS IN THE CHURCH BOOK.

The church had no info when I went to check. Inface they were rather rude when I asked.

I discovered this when I got the marriage record of my grt grandfather for his second marriage in 1905. He stated he had been married to Belle Wilt but she was deceased.

Faminly that I have asked since the 90's HAS NO RECOLLECTION OF EVER HEARING OF HER.

My father or his brother never mentioned the step grandmother and the did live a few miles apart.

I think it strange that her grave cannot be found.

I would appreciate any help in finding it.

I am thinking maybe her parents buried her in the Lutheran cemetary.

Thank you.

Howdy Albert,

I found Thomas' obit in the newspaper; that's why I'm sending in edits. He's not a direct relation, just related to a cousin in-law who asked me to research his family. If you need the obit to confirm, let me know. :) SpiritTwo at

Photo Errors
There is an error in the photo's posted on 2 memorials, and they just need to be switched.

Margaret A. Ashcroft Photo belongs on Find A Grave # 77325847

Margaret Watts
Wife of J. W. Ashcroft should go on Find A Grave# 77325846

If you look at the Birth and Death dates will see the proof,
names are close, so I can see why the mistake was made.

Thank you,

Cathy Fritz/Kotch
