Bio

In researching my family and visiting cemeteries, I found people (headstones) were disappearing everyday. I was finding missing and unreadable stones...people that were being “lost”! My heart went out to the babies and children in the cemeteries that did not appear on a census and perhaps their long lost relatives never even knew they existed.
My husband's family had one of these that I accidentally found due to another Find A Grave volunteer. It was an at risk stone in a far away location that was documented thanks to a kindred spirit that also was saving forgotten loved ones.
So...along with volunteer requests, I now concentrate on family, military, and at risk stones when I visit family, friends, and strangers in their places of rest.
