Bio

Not long ago genealogical research was limited to retired intellectuals who wrote family histories that were little more than repositories of dates and places. More and more people today are wanting to record the lives and experiences of their parents, grandparents and other ancestors. Books are now being written filled with stories, humor and interesting events as well as family relationships. But these books are not always as widely available as they could be. People continue to put more and more writing on tombstones, but size and cost are the limitations. Personal and family websites are becoming more popular since they provide more room to write, but there are drawbacks, such as when they completely disappear from the net. That is why this website is so popular. It is easy to define family relationships and link between relatives as well as add some rather large biographies. This is why it is of interest to me. I must also give credit to those who untiringly record cemeteries that produce leads that I have followed when nothing else has been available.
