I do my best to take good photographs and upload them correctly. If there seems to be a problem, please let me know and I will correct it. There are times due to weather or lighting that a photograph just doesn't look right. Many times I will go back and retake the shot.

I just started photographing grave markers in Oct 2013. It was somewhat ironic because I had been searching as to where my relatives from my father's side of the family were resting. I came across my great grandmother about six years ago on my mother's side of the family while searching Ancestry.com. I found a photo of her headstone on Find A Grave, just like the one I had taken years earlier. I then became a volunteer photographer for Find A Grave. During one of my photo journeys at River View Abbey in Portland, Oregon, I just happened to look up and see my uncle's name. Above my uncle, were my grandparents. I was elated. It turns out that my great grandparents are resting in the Riverview Abbey too. I have made arrangements in reserving a niche for my ashes.

Portland is my home town. I finally made it back to the NW in summer of 2013. My great grandparents on my mother's side are resting in the Union Cemetery near Cedar Mill, Oregon. They settled in Cedar Mill after arriving here from Switzerland in the early 1900's.
