As I am sure, everyone that has lost
a child, knows that losing a Child, No Matter What Age,
is the hardest thing a person
will ever face in this Life.
You NEVER get OVER it,
just THROUGH it with GOD'S help!
I know I certainly could not
be making this journey without
the help of GOD!!!!

Tragedies do take a toll on our
lives in more ways than one!
They affect our very existence.
Our minds our bodies.
Tragedies cause lots of stress,
whether we realize it or not.
Stress is an awful enemy
of both mind and body.
A tragedy of any nature
we live with ALL our lives.
There is no worse Tragedy
in ones life, than losing
a child. May God truly bless
those that have loss loved ones,
including; Mothers, Fathers,
Brothers, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles,
Neices, Nephews, Cousins,
Grandparents as well as Friends.
And ESPECIALLY those that have
We also have Three Beautiful
Granddaughters that we Dearly Love.

2) *Josie AnnaMarie
3) *Jorja Leigh

They are the result of our
Third Son Buddy Ray's Family.
They have certainly made
Our Lives Worth Living Again.
While one Child can NEVER
take the place of another,
God never closes one door
without opening another.
And God is always there
willing to help us with
our burdens if we let him!

Thank you ALL!
God has not promised skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways,
all our lives through.
God has not promised sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.
But God has promised strength for the day,
Rest for the laborer, light for the way;
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing sympathy, undying love!
LOGIC tells us that death
is the end. BUT, FAITH
tells us it is the BEGINNING.
Faith is the Substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.
~Beginning Hebrews Chapter 11.
Let not your heart be troubled,
Ye, believe in God, Believe also in ME.
In MY FATHER'S HOUSE are Many Mansions,
If it were NOT so I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you,
And if I go and prepare a place for you~
I will come again and receive you unto MYSELF,
That where I am, there you may be also!
~Beginning of St. John Chapter 14.
A time to be born
A Time to Die
A time to Love
A Time to hate
All about a time for everything
under the sun!
~~~Beginning in Ecclesiastes Chapter 3
This life is just a whisper and then
it is gone. I choose to believe
there is life after earthly death!
Recently my mother and I were searching information and we have found that the last name on the website is incorrect. It is under Monday and it should be Munday for 6 of my family members. This one is my grandmother and others are my grandfather and uncles. Can you tell me who I would need to contact to get this corrected. The ones with pictures has the spelling correct on the headstone. Also my mothers name is not listed as one of the childred. He names is Kathryn Louise Munday
I am sorry, Doug has not been to see me, as in 2008 and 2014, 2015, I was in Florida, I have heard that
he was asking about me, he and my son were friends and then he rented from me, my son and I like Doug,
but I have not seen him to know about his mom.
Nancy Jane Bagwell Clayton
You state in Find A Grave, Nancy Jane Bagwell Clayton, is a Full Blooded Cherokee Indian. She is the sister of my Great-Great-Grandmother Caroline S. Bagwell. I have been researching my family tree for Cherokee blood for many years. (Goforth, Kirby, Clary, Bagwell) Would you be willing to share any information on these ladies with me. Thank you so much, Shirley Goforth Moore (
I was contacting you, because you have the only photograph I have ever seen of my great great grandfather George Washington Croft. I am a direct descendant of his, My great grandparents were James Ralph (Papa Jack) Croft, Sr. and Delia (Mama D) Richardson Croft. My grandparents are James Ralph Croft, Jr. born 10/25/1923 and died on 04/28/2011 (interred at Indian Knoll cemetery in the Hickory Flat community) and Dorothy Ann (Harbin) Croft born 04/07/1930 and still lives. My dad is Charles Myron Croft who was the second son of Ralph and Ann Croft. I was hoping you had more pictures of G.W. or Papa Jack or any of his brothers or sisters. I confirmed with my granddaddy Ralph a year or two before he passed that the picture you have posted is G.W. Croft was indeed his grandfather. Would love to meet up sometime and exchange old pictures. I live in Chattanooga now, but come to Hickory Flat every couple of weeks to visit my Memaw Ann Croft as she is my only grandparent I have living. Thanks for reading this and I hope to hear from you soon! -Gabe Croft
RE: My Grandfather Jim
I was at his house staying for the day while my father was at work. He tripped and fell over his walker and broke his leg. He was taken to Vanderbilt where he got pneumonia. His injury was the beginning of a decline in his health. I would love some copies of photos that you may have. I have a formal photo of him in his uniform and a photo of him working at his shoe repair shop in Madison that he owned after my father was born. My dad is a spitting image of him I must say. I always knew him as a loving grandfather, but my father swears he was the most strict by the book parent. I am so glad I found you on here! It always seemed to me that my father's side of the family was a bit blurry.
