Researching and documenting my family history is one of the most important works of my life. While looking for my family - I photo cemeteries to be able to help others. I feel everyone should know as much about their ancestors as possible. Through my research I have been able to spend quality time with my sister, Janet Bertram Hallmark and my mother, Norma Davidson Bertram.(Mother passed away on April 6, 2013 and we really miss her helping). We travel the great state of Texas visiting ancestors graves and photo documenting as much as possible. Findagrave is a wonderful place that has brought lots of people into my life I would never have known otherwise. I like filling photo requests when possible. We need to all keep up the good work. Thanks to all who are working so hard.
I follow the Fin A Grave guidelines for transfers. "Transfer requests must follow Find A Grave guidelines. Be specific on your relationship. Must be the four generations as listed in the rules. I will make corrections, additions, & family links when asked. Use the Edit tab, then the Suggest A Correction option & include your email address."
My photos may be used for family trees, but please ask first. I have found many of my photos on a Find A Grave members Ancestry.com file with no credit or permission being given. Please read the rules for photo use in the Find A Grave help. Many hours are spent taking photos and the photographer should be given credit.
NEW FINDAGRAVE FEATURE
"FindaGrave has added a new editing function to all members. Check the 'Edit' tab on your profile page for pending edit requests for your memorials."
You currently have one or more such edit requests on your profile page. Most edit requests are no longer sent from FindaGrave with an email notice to the memorial creator/current manager. You have to go to your profile page and check the Edit tab to see the requests for additions or changes to your memorials.
Please check your profile page so that the requested edits can be processed. FindaGrave has made this change to facilitate rapid handling of multiple edit requests.

Thank you for creating the memorial for Sophia Cotton Flowers Fisher. I was wondering if you are related to her.
If not, would you be willing to transfer ownership? She is my GGG Aunt.

Is there any chance you would be willing to transfer management of my grandfather Don Douglas Milam Memorial# 126899575 to me. I would greatly appreciate it.

I have entered data using the EDIT capability for this memorial. Just wanted to give you a "heads up" as to the identity and memorial number for this wife.
Fred Linder was married twice. His first wife died at age 27 from injuries sustained in a car wreck. She was the mother of several, if not all, of his children.
The widow mentioned in his obituary was his second wife. As far as I know, she is still living.
Thanks for your efforts to keep us informed of those who have gone before.

Your welcome, anytime you need one down this way let me know.

Sandra, stopped by on the way home from work and got the photos of Francis Brown Grave Marker also took photos of her husbands also. doesn't look like the cemetery is kept up much and also looks like some vandalism quiet a few broken and pushed over stones. So sad someone would do that and also not keep up that cemetery since it is an historical part of Buna's beginnings.
God Bless, Homer King

Hi Sandra. I can try to make it that way to take a photo but I don't get to Buna as much these days. Probably will soon to change out flowers on graves. Living in Lumberton now and moved mother-in-law here too. I'll have to find that cemetery. Never been to it.
|Homer King||Grave of Francis Brown|
Sandra I'll head out and get the photo this weekend, weather allowing.
|PupDawg||RE: Your cousin|
Thank you so much for your response and clarification. The more I studied the cemeteries the more I could see the confusion.
I would like to request to use the headstone photo, with full credit to you, on my private genealogy website. I credit each photo with the Find a Grave name, contributor number and permission of use statement. The site requires a user name and password to access, so the photos do not appear in google searches.
Appreciate your help!

|Anna & Bill Carmean||Francis Hancock "Frank" Womack 150822829|
There is an entry for another of Frank and Nancy Womack's sons, Jesse W. Womack, in this book:
History of Texas, Together with a Biographical History of Milam, Williamson, Bastrop, Travis, Lee and Burleson Counties: Containing a Concise History of the State, with Portraits and Biographies of Prominent Citizens of the Above Named Counties, and Personal Histories of Many of the Early Settlers and Leading Families; Lewis Publishing Company, 1893
It has biographical information for his parents and family. This is Jesse's memorial: Womack, J. W. 18505528
The book is in google books and I can email the 2 pages (620-621) to you if you would prefer.
I am not directly related, their granddaughter Mary Womack married my grandfather's cousin.
Thanks for all of your work on FindaGrave, Anna Carmean
