I have moved to Georgia and am currently trying to get straightened out on my kids property.
I am 74 years old and love doing family research. I believe in God and Country and the men & women who defend it.
I want everything to be as correct as I can make it. I do this out of respect for them and who they were. As I am also researching family I try to have the same consideration for others as I expect from them. Even with my own family if someone see's something they think is wrong I'd like to know it and then I may or may not change it according to what I have and what I know. I've learned not even gov documents are always correct nor name spellings on them. So good thing I like fishing because in some cases it takes a lot of it to find out anything or another family member in this up to their necks with lots of resources. I have two of those in my family.... God Bless all those dedicated to obtaining correct information and supporting and working together on sites like Find A Grave and Ancestry.

One thing that bothers me is people who add photo's of stones at such an angle or distance that it can not be read or with flowers obstructing the information on the stone. To me if the stone can't be read DON'T PUT IT ON THE MEMORIAL. The stone has important information on it that we need as verification of information. To me take flowers off and get over the stone and close enough to be able to read it in the photo. The stone is the most important thing, not the flowers on it.

PLEASE DO NOT POST A CLOSE UP OF A SECTION OF THE STONE IF THE COMPLETE PICTURE OF THE STONE CAN BE READ. THERE IS NO NEED FOR IT AND IT TAKES UP PHOTO SPACE. THANK YOU.
