Bio

I started out with my dad (Pocock) side of the family and got more than I bargain for, I have over 6,000 in my Family Tree. I started a business called Dawn's Genealogy & Printing Service over ten years ago, it is very rewarding to help other people looking for history in Genesee County, NY. I don't run my business anymore. So, if anyone still like me to look up stuff, I can do that.

I'm working on my mom side of the Family (Voorhees) I been working on it for almost a year (2020) and still adding stuff.

I'm a mother of three children Mark, 37, Kyle, 34 and Sheena, 32. They all are living at home with 6 dogs, Champ 12, Bear 12, Missy 12, Arctica 8, Montana 8 and Bella 7. So, you could say my house is very busy.

I'm on oxygen with a lung disease (not cancer) it's call Interstitial Lung Disease. I got it from having parakeets when I cleaned the cage the dust and whatever else would get in the air and I breathe it in. So, call the doctor, had a breathing test done and my oxygen levels were 70% that is low. So, I was sent to a specialist and wasted two years with his doctor from using meds for asthma, then later he started talking about having to have a lung transplant. I talked to my primer doctor, and he even thought he was off is rocker. So, get a new doctor and right off the bat he knows what I have and start treating me and puts me on oxygen, he just deals with lung nothing else, and I been seeing for him for ten years. He said no lung transplant unless it gets worse, so far, we are doing good.

I worked for 10 years as a rural mail carrier, for United States Post Office and I loved that job (except in the winter), but I had to give it up because of my health problem.
