Bio

I have been researching my family's ancestry for years now and have gotten quite far on my maternal grandfather's side, having a professional family tree done by my maternal great-grandmother many years ago. The other sides are not quite as easy, as my Patterson and Miller ancesters have not been in the U.S. as long. I am also an amateur photographer, with an emphasis on amateur, so I have tried adding pictures where I can and will continue to visit cemeteries and photograph tombstones. I see so many that are unreadable due to age and weather, and that is such a shame because that history is lost, but it makes me more determined to get out there and get pictures while I still can. I drag my grandkids with whenever possible so they can realize the importance and possibly continue after I am gone.
