DO NOT COPY MY PHOTO'S PLEASE, without asking for permission first.
I am being overwhelmed with edits. These all have to be verified, so please be carefull and cognitive of this. DO NOT GUESS A DATE OF BIRTH BY THE AGE ON THE STONE. you will often be wrong by a year or so.
DO NOT ADD A PICTURE OF A STONE THAT DOES NOT REFLECT THE PERSON'S NAME, EVEN IF IT IS ON THE OTHER SIDE. VOLUNTEERS WILL SKIP OVER THIS MEMORIAL WHO ARE TRYING TO GET MISSING PICS.
If you place a pic up, other than a stone, put it in as OTHER.
Use the edit function for all changes, including Bio's and special info. Do not request to add info to Bio or inscription field, that is in the Memorial fields, such as Date of Birth, Location of Birth or Location of Death. Use the proper Edit feature.
Please remove personal info from Bio's or Obits that include personal info, such as town relatives live in, young children's names or private illness's.
Funeral Home and donation requests or it will be denied, I can't keep editing these. No one needs to know about a suicide or drug problem from us, I feel.
Please DO NOT Post copies of documents or clips from ancestry research logs….leave the photo's for Family Photo's or Head Stones, that apply to diseased.
Information which can not be reflected by using the edit features, can be sent to me the New Note feature or via email with back up docs and I would be happy to add it to the bio.
Names on Stones are used first and other names are added in the Bio Section, except Maiden Names. Remember you want the memorial to be found by others.
Transfers are reviewed and in most cases honored, please tell me your relationship to the deceased, include your ID and the Mem. #. PLEASE

I believe in sharing information on our ancestors with others and when I am able to add accurate information to this site, I am happy to do so. I have worked many cemeteries in Barnstable County and Bristol County, Warren, Swansea and Bristol and Pawtucket.

It gives me great satisfaction to help others to find the graves of their relatives and friends and I often walk local and nearby state cemeteries, to search and document. Especially the forgotten Veteran.
My ancestors are mostly from Rhode Island...Austrian/Polish and French Canadian.
I do believe we need to be respectful to the living regarding what we place on Find A Grave, so I am careful about putting info up of living relatives from Obituaries, especially residential info and names of small children, cause of death, etc.
However Obits are a reflection of the authors whims and memory and can often be wrong. I do not link based on this source alone.
Often; a name on a stone with no Death date can mean the person is buried elsewhere or hasn't died yet. It can also mean the stone was never engraved with a date. Be carefull of Epitaphs, which are listed differently.
I Keep in mind that Census Records and Family Search are good reference guides, they should not be a sole source of input for FAG, nor should this info be Posted as a Photo.
Help me make these records as accurate as possible with the utmost respect.
Better to Omit, than to be wrong. This is not Ancestry.. it is Find a Grave and it is not up to us to make a tree for families, but to guide them.

Thank You
