Bio

San Dimas, California -- I am documenting our Pittman line genealogy with the passing of my father. My mother and father gathered lots of misc. info over 50 years.

I manage a (German) "Pittman Lines" site on MyHeritage.com, with tree lines back some 815 years, but am now seeking information/ documentation for accuracy and to fill in the gaps; and separate legends from the facts. Exploring the connects by marriages has been amazing, seeing the expansive history of America.

Family names include: Adams, Carlyle, Conrad, Crockett, Dutt, Kanka, Eddleman/Edelmann/Edlemann, Gish, Gunnell, Jacob, Krick, Major, Mauck, Pittman/Pitman/Bittman/Bittmann, Small, Smoots, Snapp, Trabue, Weidtmann, Whetstone, Wiseman, Zumwalt.

On my wife's side: Arnold, Ashford, Farny (Farni/Farnu), Auer, Baldwin, Creakbaum, Crouse, Dietsch, Gallion, Gilbert, Heinzmann, Holloway, Jones, Kinch, Neville, Plebst, Poelhuis, Porter, Schmitt, Warren.

I enjoy research time in retirement. As I visit local cemeteries more often, I include random graves to check to Find a Grave. If one belongs to your family, I freely transfer non-family memorials. My permission is given for the use of any posted pictures for genealogy purposes.
