Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been a member since May 4, 2007

The names I'm Researching are: Adkins, Armes, Arms, Arthur, Aslinger, Bardill, Bearden, Braden, Breeden, Brock, Brooks, Brown, Brummett, Brummitt, Bryant, Bullock, Bunch, Burchfield, Burress, Burris, Birge, Burge, Byrge, Carroll, Cox, Daugherty, Davis, Fox, Fraker, Galbraith, Gilbreath, Goodman, Harmon, Harness, Hatmaker, Hill, Hooks, Inman, Jones, Justice, Lane, Lawson, Lively, Lowe, Low, Lough's, Marlow, McCoy. McKamey, Owens, Patterson, Rutherford, Phillips, Robbins, Sampsell, Scarbrough, Seeber, Seiber, Seivers, Sharp, Smith, Stair, Stooksbury, Tackett, Taylor, Utley, Utly, Viles, Ward, Webb, Webber, White, Wilson

Starting now. I will no longer complete memorials or add links until I'm sure they aren't going to be snatched away (as most of mine are these days). It takes a lot of time to do this for others. If your going to take my memorial then you do the work.

I've spent a lot of time walking cemeteries and hours on end posting names to this site.

It is my desire to not only post my family, but to post other names in an effort to help others find their family ties.

I have no intent of commercial or financial gain from posting information on this site. I do this solely as a service to others searching for family burial locations for personal or genealogy purposes

I add as much info as possible to each memorial so it will be here for future generations.

obituaries are so hard to come by sometimes impossible to get after the fact.

I like finding obits on a memorial page when connecting other memorials they help to clarify an idenity.

All my memorials have been done with love and respect to honor my family and others who have passed on.

If you have additional info to add please use the edit tab. Don't leave it in the flower section chances are it won't be found unless you email me.

To suggest a correction (SAC) click on the edit tab of the memorial that needs to be corrected. Then click on the link which best describes where your edit should occur. Enter your correction, when you're done, click submit edit. Your request will be sent to the manager of the memorial and will appear in the managers' profile under the Edits tab. Before I make a correction on this I would like to know where you got the info. Requesting a transfer, adding family links, or other corrections are still handled the same way.

When you request info to be added, and you are related to that person or a friend please state so. I'm not in it for the numbers so I can transfer them to you if you would like.

If you are a relative and would like a family member's memorial page transferred to you, please sent your FAG member number, how you are related and something about that person and I will be happy to transfer as long as they are not my own family.

If you are a friend of someone, and would like a transfer to you, please send me a message and as long as it's not my own family or friends, I'll be happy to transfer as well. I'd rather the memorials be managed by someone who knows and loves the person

I do ask if I transfer a memorial to you and someone (who is of a closer relation) asks for it that you would let that person have the memorial.

Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer.

I have a paid yearly subscription to Ancestery. Occasionally I find obits and soc sec info and pass them on. I do ask to be recognized as the contributor. If you don't want to give the credit then don't use the info, I will report you if you do, and have the info deleted. It is not my intention to offend anyone but if it does then let me know and I won't send you any.

THANK YOU so much to everyone who has been willing to complete a transfer for me! Your generosity is greatly appreciated!! THANK YOU to everyone that has added updates and links to memorials. You are the BEST!

A big "THANK YOU" to all the Find-A-Grave volunteers who have taken marker pictures for me. and transfers you have so generously made to me. THANK YOU to all the contributors who have edited information for me.

Due to the large amount of information I submit it's hard to thank everyone personally please know that your work is truly appreciated and does not go un noticed..

Do not move your Burial Unknown or a memorial from an incorrect cemetery into the correct cemetery based on my correctly placed memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate.

I will not delete any of my memorials anymore, I will submit them for merge and let FAG decide who's was placed correctly first.

Find A Grave states on duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location.

PLEASE NOTE: If I find a memorial for an unknown burial, I will notify Find A Grave so an edit can be made on the memorial. As long as it's not someone in my tree whom I have spent hours researching!

Re: Transfers

The Golden Rule also trumps "the guide-
lines" here, so feel free to ask no matter how far up or down the tree!! If it's none of mine, I won't refuse anyone access to family OR friends, and it's sooo much more fun to work with those who think the same!! I am not a grave collector like some who post names jn mass from cemetery readings and online obituaries but then refuse to share them even if they've sat "naked" for years! Anyone can transcribe names from books while "manage" to me means enhancing or sharing them with other gravers who will!! (Since there are no prizes for having "the most," it behooves me why anyone would even WANT to manage a number beyond their ability to maintain!! That's stingy and small, but "team players" are easy to spot as are those who are not!!)

When I post a memorial, I work as hard on a stranger's as I do for a member of my own tree.

I don't claim to be perfect, but carelessly posting incorrect names, dates, and mis- spellings DO rattle my cage, and snatching up my kin and not finishing their memorials.

Mystery
Has this happened to you too?
Have you ever placed a memorial and go back to it and poof! it's gone. It's called merging. Meaning another memorial with a lower number than yours existed. But where was it? If you figure it out please let me know.
