I have been doing family genealogy for quite some time and have visited numerous cemeteries to gather information for my records. When I ran across Find-A-Grave, I realized what a wonderful concept it was. I'm happy to volunteer to photograph graves; it's just the older I get, the slower I get. But it gives great satisfaction to make sure cemeteries are photographed and the information available for free access to those who cannot make the trip to photograph those graves themselves.

I live in Southwest Georgia, am retired from the Colquitt County Baptist Association after 15 years of service there, and continue to be involved in a number of volunteer projects.
