The Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you"
Please don't create duplicates when you know another memorial was created first. If there is an error in cemetery or other info, be courteous and contact the original contributor. You'd want that gesture offered to you too.

ABOUT DEATH CERTIFICATES AND OTHER DOCUMENTS--- For the most part I prefer no death certificates, if I already have all the necessary info on the memorial.
However if your DC has proof of other information, please send me a message.
Note: occasionally I will post death certificates or obits on other's memorials just to verify info for which I have sent edits for links to parents and/or spouse, dates, locations, etc. Once seen, I will be happy to remove the documents if you prefer.

I do welcome any photos of the individual so we can see them when alive. About photos, if another contributor has posted gravestone photos to one of my memorials, please do not post any duplicates. thank you for that!

We are ALL part of this magnificant GIANT historical jigsaw puzzle!

I always have and still do love puzzles. And I have been bitten by the genealogy research bug for years! Better than fiction!

I am NOT involved with findagrave for the numbers. I research every person for whom I create a memorial for accuracy and in an attempt to include as much information as possible.

Whenever possible, I also try to link family members. I feel that is most important and a way to have them all 'reunited.'

This is a marvelous venue to not only recognize, remember and HONOR those who have passed before us, but also to assist families in the future in finding their ancestors and hopefully even seeing a photo of their headstone.

My sincere thanks to all findagrave contributors and photographers for all you have done for me and the entire findagrave community! It takes a village!

For the MOST part, the cooperation and sharing on this site are tremendous and heart-warming.

A special thanks to contributor peace4me- she is a prolific and wonderful photo contributor and a super nice person to work with! She is incredible with photos in Wheeling West Virginia and beyond!

Remember: be kind to one another!
