My family tree starts with Vargason and Holroyd, then branches out from there to Jarrett, Lewis, Crane, Crofoot, Voshell, Decker, etc.

As a young boy growing up in N.E. Iowa, I had a lot of interaction my mothers parents, brothers and sisters. And on my dad's side just brothers and sisters, his mother died the year I was born, his dad when he was very young.

I came from a large family as did both of my parents, six girls and four boys. We lived in cramped conditions as did my mom, The Holroyd farm house burned and they moved into the Campton one room school house

We buried my dad in 1991 and mom in 2011, all ten of us children still survive, most still living in Iowa with our oldest sister living in Texas and I in California.
