I think this site is a wonderful resource for genealogists. I have been able to add birth dates, death dates, burial locations and even photographs and obituaries to many ancestors in my family history thanks to the contributors here.

While I don't have plans to go to cemeteries to take photos on a regular basis, I do sometimes go to cemeteries in search of my own ancestors and I will photograph a few nearby headstones to add here in hopes that it will help others in their search. I also try to remember to check for photo requests before I go; I am happy to take photos to fill photo requests when I can because I know how grateful I am when one of my photo requests is filled!

I do not mind if the photos I post here on Find A Grave are used by others or posted elsewhere for their family histories; all I ask is that proper photo credit is given by adding this text with the photo:

I am also happy to transfer any memorials that are not part of my family to anyone who would like to maintain them.
