I am a member of the Richland County, IL Genealogical Society, in Olney, IL. I am trying to create memorials for anyone I find information on, from our many sources that are available. If any of these memorials are of your family, I am willing to transfer, if they are not related to me.

I became interested in genealogy several years ago, while attending a family reunion. Someone made the statement "If someone doesn't write this information down, then it's going to be lost". I realized how true that was, so I began my searches. I think "Family" is very important, and sometimes younger generations don't think much about the present time, then later begin to wonder. Of course, after all the info has been gathered, then family members request copies of the info, which I am happy to share.

Now that I have become acquainted with Find A Grave, I am trying to get as much info and photos added, as possible, to help others locate their loved ones.

UPDATE on 05/19/2023: As my health is failing, I have transferred all 13, 129 memorials, which I have created, over to the care of Kathy Kuenstler Hursta, Contributor #46990380.
