I love discovering all I can about the lives of my ancestors. It's important to honor the past. Cemeteries are the most peaceful, spiritual places one can find. Many thanks to everyone who contributes to this site.

A Find-A-Grave memorial is meant to be a TRIBUTE to the PERSON, not a case file of genealogical data. Familysearch.org is a free site to gather your family tree and do your genealogy work. Remember this site is FIND-A-GRAVE. Stop trying to turn it into Ancestry.com. They are two different websites with different purposes. Posting screen shot photos of your Ancestry.com search results is simply tacky and lazy. You should request the appropriate edits to the memorial instead.

***EDITS - PLEASE NOTE: I research all requested edits before approving or declining. If I decline an edit, then I have a solid reason for doing so. I welcome discussion and collaboration in this process. When requesting edits to remove/change spouse or parents, please provide your source. Those edits will not be approved without a documented/reliable source. If you are related to that person, then please include that info. Thank you.

PLEASE DO NOT POST DEATH CERTIFICATE PHOTOS TO MEMORIALS I MANAGE. Posting a death certificate to a memorial is grossly inappropriate. When your loved one died, did you hand out the death certificate to everyone at the funeral? That is what you are doing by posting those things. So very disrespectful to the deceased and their family.
