Bio

I spent twenty years in health care and we were told that if it isn't documented , it didn't happen . When you submit an edit I search for documentation to support your suggestion before I approve it.

Out of respect for the deceased and their family, I will only put the name as it appears on the marker as the main header on the memorial. They chose that name for a reason. I will put the given name in the bio.

I will not put ex or previous spouses in the main header of the memorial unless that name appears on the marker.

When requesting a transfer of a memorial:
Please refer to the following from FAG.
How can I request to manage a relative's memorial?
Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. You can add photos and suggest corrections without managing a memorial. With millions of members, there will be many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all members to manage their entire tree.
Memorials are transferred for relatives with these close relationships: child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great-niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great-aunt/uncle, or first cousin. This would include adoptive, step and in-law versions of these relationships.
Please use the suggest other edits tab to request a transfer and include your FAG ID number. Requests sent through messages will be ignored.

Sorry but I do not add links for unknown burials or cremations without burial info.

FAG is a place to find where those that have gone before us are buried. I have discovered members who have over 50 percent of their memorials without cemetery info. This is not the purpose of this site. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING FROM FAG.

Burial Details Unknown: Find a Grave's purpose is to catalog and make available final disposition information. If burial information is unknown for an individual, Find a Grave is probably not the right place for their information. In rare cases, creating a Find a Grave memorial for someone with no burial information may be warranted, but these should be uncommon. If it is too soon after someone's passing for burial information to be known, please wait to create the memorial.

Please do not send links to genealogy
sites to my e mail or through the suggest other edits tab. I do not open links from people that I do not know.

Please do not put biographical information under leave a flower. I do not receive notification when they are added so it could be weeks, months, years or never until I see it . Please use the suggest other edits tab for such info.
