Our grandmother finally has a headstone . We provided the correct dates but they were not carved on it . Stones , Death Certificates , and all other records are not always as we believe they should be . Place names have changed and Allegheny City is part of Pittsburgh, and may sometimes be referred to as City . Many such names change as the political lines change . Respect them now as you respect the past .
