In loving memory of Fern Holland, and all of the beautiful people I've heard of, or perhaps had the privilege of meeting, who died before their time. Fern, all of my work on Find A Grave is dedicated to you! I'm so sorry I never met you when we were freshmen at OU. Say hi to my dearly departed classmates. I can't wait to meet you on the other side. Iraq will never be the same. My poetry will acknowledge you and your accomplishments forever.

Ever since Fern Holland's death in Iraq, I've wanted to commemorate her, my other deceased classmates, and the noted murder victims, particularly the ladies, of Oklahoma. Each one of them has a story to tell, and since they can't tell it themselves, I took the liberty of telling it for them. If you have the time, please stop by and say hello to them, especially Fern Holland. She has an extraordinary tale to tell! Also, say hello to Robert Zangas, one of Fern's colleagues, who was killed with her.

My thanks to Sandy Evans for providing me with pictures of her locally famous daughter, Lisa "Lee" Evans, the KFOR-TV Channel 4 Oklahoma City anchorwoman we lost in a car accident in July of 1997. We love you, Lee! You will be remembered forever on these premises!
