Bio

I enjoy visiting local cemeteries and photographing memorial stones. Family members are welcome to use my photos to complete their ancestry trees.

I've not had much luck finding graves from the 1700's in my area...many are illegible, broken or simply not found. So I tend to shy away from accepting those requests, unless they're accompanied by a plot location.

In general, calling for plot locations ahead of time (for any birth/death date) helps the photographer save a huge amount of time. It not only confirms the person actually IS at that cemetery, but also opens the door for the church to tell you about burials of additional relatives you may not have known were there. I love when that happens! :-)
