Bio

I was born in Louisiana, but have lived in the Great State of Texas for the majority of my life.

I found the second wife of a gg grandfather which may have help me understand why my name is pronounced as it is. Her name is Anice. My middle name is Janice which is normally pronounced as Janis, but if you add a "J" in front of Anice and you will pronounce my name correctly.

Some of my family names are Williams, Armstrong, Dailey, and Young on my father's side. They are Cox, Hays, Boudreaux, and Kern on my mother's side.

My son's father's family names are Anderson, Lenoir, McPike, and Posey on his father's side. His mother's side are Richardson, Campbell, Holden, and Trusty.

I live in the Panhandle of Texas, Plainview, Texas, which is between Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas on Interstate 27, so if I can be of service in this area let me know.

Find A Grave has made it easier for transfers to be made and corrections to be submitted to contributor so please use the "edit" tab on the listing that you would like transfered or corrected. Give your relationship or reason for transfer under the "suggestion" on this page or any corrections you might see that need to be done.

◊Find A Grave's primary purpose is a graves registration website.

◊Find A Grave's secondary purpose is a memorialization/remembrance site.

◊Find A Grave's tertiary purpose is a genealogical resource.

If a listing or contribution corresponds with only the primary purpose, it has fulfilled its part of Find A Grave's mission and is not required to correspond with the secondary and tertiary purposes. Fulfilling the other two is welcomed, encouraged and deeply appreciated, but as far as Find A Grave's purpose goes, a memorial page isn't lacking if it does not.

Transfers are made within the guidelines set up by Find A Grave. These guidelines are in place for a reason.

Virtual Cemeteries are a wonderful feature of
Find A Grave that enables us to "collect" the memorials of our relatives in an easy to use location without the need to manage them.

Thanks,
Janice Langley

To Those I Love and Those Who Love Me

When I am gone, release me let me go.
I have so many things to see and do.

You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears.
Be happy that we had so many years.

I gave to you my love, you can only guess.
How much you gave to me in the happiness.

I thank you for the love you each have shown
But now it's time I traveled on alone.

So grieve a while for me if you must.
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.

I won't be far away, for life goes on.
So if you need me, call and I will come.

Though you can't see me or touch me. I'll be near
And if you listen with your heart, You'll hear,
All of my love around you soft and clear.

And then, when you must come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile, and say

"Welcome Home"
