Bio

Originally from Macomb, Illinois area. Joined the Air Force right out of high school and made a 20 year career of it traveling and serving all over the world. Retired in 1983 and went back to college on the Viet Nam era GI bill and then taught school for 17 years. Had to retire in 2005 because of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. I was blessed with a lung transplant in August 2007. Genealogy is a passion for me. I am grateful for the sacrifices our ancestors made so that we can live in this great country. I am able to do grave stone photos in Shelby, Monroe, Ralls and other counties in north east Missouri. I sometimes am able to photograph in Hancock,McDonough and Fulton, Illinois also.
Many times when I go to a cemetery, I try to take as many photos as I am able. If you find any memorials that I have put up that you would want to maintain or have more information on, please let me know.
