I like walking through old graveyards and cemeteries and taking photos. It is a new found hobby of mine since getting into geneology. Looking for my fathers side of the family since other family have basically sewn up my moms side. Thanks for all the hard work Aunt Babs and cousin Carolyn. Anyway still trodding through alot of my moms moms side and learning alot about myself.

If I take a photo of a family members grave stone you may copy and use it for your geneology or records of family research. It is meant for non-profit uses only though.

I have a new hobby---whenever I fulfill a photo request I will take a look around at the other headstones and take photos of interesting ones or in particular Veterns headstones. I will come home and check to see if they are posted and if not list a memorial for our beloved Veterns. I will leave flowers for each Vetern I make a memorial and the photo of his or her stone. Hopefully someday the family will find it posted here. If I have posted a memorial of a family member- I may transfer to your care unless I am not sure they are family of mine. I do not always get around to researching that so direct lines are all I will transfer at this time. Parents, grandparents, and spouse or children as stated by the Find a Grave guidelines. I have had to change my position on this due to the fact that I have had a lot of requests from people when they are just aunts, uncles or cousins. Just let me know through the edit button or posting a comment. Don't forget to provide your contributor # with transfer requests. I will even consider transfers of non family members as long as they arent my family you are requesting. I have done alot of research in finding the burial locations of my family so I prefer to keep them in my possession.

Also please let me know if you find other family members with the same name buried next to ones that I request photos for. When I find them on requests I let the family know so that THEY may post the memorial. I then upload the picture to the memorial they created and saves the time of requesting transfers and such. If you are just interested in compiling numbers then please don't claim my request. I have had too many people get rude and down right mean when I ask to have my family member to be able to link up and add information or ask them to delete one that was already posted. There are alot of very nice folks that do alot of hard work for others through find a grave let's not spoil it by being thin skinned.
