Bio

My main lines are York, Anderson, Biddle and Anthony, but i do work on all the other lines that are linked in with them. I am willing to help, with the info i have on my lines.
We started this tree about 1984. It was harder then, ppl didn't use the internet to work on family trees, you had to make calls, write letters, go places to look things up, things like that. After a few years i started my family and worked alot, so there wasn't much time to work on it, so much wasn't done. About a year i put it online. I have gotten so much more info in the last year, then we ever did the old way. Gotta love the internet. Now i have more time to work on it. I will try my best to keep everything updated. Thank You Everyone.

York Family Flower is the White Rose.
White roses are given to those who are innocent, reverent, and pure. They are very commonly used in weddings. They can also be given as a sign of secrecy. A white rosebud is used to show girlhood.

A white rose that has been dried means "Death is Preferable to Loss of Virtue". A withered white rose represents fleeting beauty, or given to show that no impression was made.

-War of Roses-
Wars of the Roses, (1455–85), in English history, the series of dynastic civil wars whose violence and civil strife preceded the strong government of the Tudors. Fought between the Houses of Lancaster and York for the English throne, the wars were named many years afterward from the supposed badges of the contending parties: The white rose of York and the red of Lancaster.
