I created the Find A Grave website because I could not find an existing site that catered to my hobby of visiting the graves of famous people. Much to my surprise, I found that there were many thousands of folks from around the world that shared my interests. Seeing Find A Grave grow and grow beyond my wildest expectations has been one of the great joys of my life. I was born in Alma, Michigan but spent most of my youth in Denver, Colorado. I attended Grinnell College in Iowa and earned a BA in music. I currently live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I enjoy playing and writing music, reading, table tennis, foosball and disc-golf (the macho sports).
