Bio

I've always been intrigued with our old family pictures, but only recently began investigating my family tree and building my knowledge of ancestry. As I'm from the Midwest, I cannot visit or photograph my family's gravesites, and am very appreciative for people who have added my family's memorials. I have chosen to give back to the ancestry community by photographing gravesites in my region and making them publicly available.

I have done extensive research on families buried in the vicinity of Clinton, New Jersey with a strong focus on families buried in the three cemeteries, Old Bethlehem Presbyterian Churchyard Cemetery, Bethlehem Cemetery and Union Cemetery of Grandin. Most families in the region have ancestors in the historic Old Bethlehem Presbyterian Churchyard, as it was the oldest Presbyterian Church in the county and the oldest cemetery in the area.

I'll happily transfer ownership of any sites to family members, as I have no known connection to most of the NJ or PA memorials that I've created, other than geographical proximity. I respect the FAG guidelines for transferring within four direct generations, but may transfer to non-direct relatives upon request. Please explain your relationship if you request a transfer.

"Let us endeavor so to live that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry." Mark Twain

My family names include Scott, Adams, Taylor, Melvin, Roberts, Pirtle, Williams, Magness, Morris, Wrather, Thomas/Thomis, Shipp, Gwyn, Greathouse and more.

I am also passionate about resistant starch, a fermentable dietary fiber with incredible health benefits, including preventing type 2 diabetes. See www.ResistantStarchResearch.com for details.
