I retired from FIND A GRAVE back in 2011, it just go to much for me. I wanted to help out by starting as many memorials as I could so I went to most of the cemetery's that I could find with in a 100 miles of where I lived and would walk the entire cemetery and photograph every headstone. Then I would sit down at the computer and start new memorials from just the info on the headstone. My goal was just to get the memorials started so people could find their loved ones and then they could add information to them. I have no knowledge of any information that wasn't on the headstone. I won't deny that I could have made mistakes and some folks have contacted and requested corrections and I have been happy to do that. I get lots of requests for more information about memorials and I just can't help you with that. I created about 33,000 memorials and only about 40 are my own family members. They would be the only ones that I might have further info on.
