Bio

As a teenager, I would sit with my grandmother as she helped me diagram the "Who's Who" of our regular but convoluted family reunions. As we worked, she would tell me stories of her parents and grandparents. Since then, I've been hooked! I'm a typical product of that melting pot known as Boston, MA; with Irish, Italian, Scots, French and German ancestry. When I get stuck on my own ancestry, I work on my husband's or anyone else I can help. I served for six years at our local LDS Family History Center as a worker, and as its director for another five. These days my great obsession is documenting all of our family members who have served in the military, and the list is up to 106, including 3 women, 5 nations and all branches of service. It's a heritage I want to pass on to my active-duty Air Force and Navy sons. Oh, and ask them how many of their childhood family vacations were spent traipsing through cemeteries! ;-)
Please feel free to use any of my photographs of headstones/graves on your family tree; it would be nice if you'd credit me. I'm always happy to hear that my random snapping helps someone!
**PLEASE NOTE** I'm happy to make edits and/or transfers, please use the edit button on the memorial, and if you would like a memorial transferred, please remember to include your findagrave number so I don't have to look it up. Thanks!
