"When you remember me, it means that you have carried something of who I am with you, that I have left some mark of who I am in who you are. It means that even after I die, you can still see my face and hear my voice and speak to me in your heart." Fredrick Beekner

TRANSFERS: Use the edit tab on your loved ones memorial and send me the request!!! You will need to click on "suggest any other correction or addition". Transfer requests on my profile page will be ignored.

I do not go by strict family guidelines, so tell me how you are related, or whatever the situation may be, and I may transfer... if that person is NOT my relative. I will no longer transfer MY relatives.

Hello,

Thank you in advance for the many updates and links that I receive almost daily for my memorials. I strive to keep up with them.

Please make sure your information is accurate, so that I can accept it. There are a lot of people being linked to those they do not belong to due to so many "same names". It is an easy mistake, I know, as it has happened to me in the past. When possible, follow your loved one from birth to death, check your dates and locations lived to make sure it is the correct memorial.

Know that I appreciate your time and effort. Please, be respectful of my time and effort. If I have made an error, sign in to Find A Grave, and send me an edit. If you have documentation of your information, include that as well.

Find a Grave is kept up by a United community of genealogists, historians, (beginners and experts) all of which of course, are VOLUNTEERS. We do not get paid for what we do here.

Creating memorials and fulfilling photo requests is a labor of love for me. If you appreciate something I've added, please pay it forward! If you receive "freely", give "freely"

When making CORRECTIONS & TRANSFERS
Please click the "Edit" tab on the individual memorial, then the "Suggest A Correction" link on the specific memorial you would like me to update or transfer. ***PLEASE DO NOT SEND CORRECTIONS AS PUBLIC MESSAGES***
Transfer requests should be requested on the "edit" tab. Include your relationship, and your contributor name and number.

Keep in mind, those of us who list the memorials are only human, sometimes we make mistakes, let us know, and Never forget: We Are Volunteers. VOLUNTEERS. Our time and work are given freely.

The quote of Fredrick Beekner is borrowed from my cousin Mike Perkins memorial.

I am of the belief that "no one is truly gone, until they are forgotten." Phyllis Behrendt 2008

So with all this said, I will continue to visit cemeteries and take photos of graves, and hope someday to find more of my family, and maybe some of yours. Until then I will remain.... Calmly Searching..........
