My name is Steven Michael Gooding. I am the Administrator of Allouez Catholic Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum in Green Bay, WI. This is one of the largest cemetery/mausoleums - in regard to size and number of services per year - in Northern Wisconsin.

We are a non-profit organization and operate with a small staff, thus most of my time and attentiond is dedicated to the families we assist on a daily basis... both those who have lost loved ones, and those who are pre-planning arrangements... I also have a deep appreciation for the storied history of those who lay to rest here and the families who seek information on them.

My father, Michael Gooding, is one of the 30,000 deceased here at Allouez, and having family members at the very cemetery/mausoleum we work at is something my colleagues and I have in common (and is the very reason some of us are involved in this ministry). Therefore, we have a unique and special bond with this nearly 200 year old landmark. That being said, I do not feel each of those 30,000 is a number... each is someone's family member, friend, coworker, etc. That is why I believe in the effort to help as many of you as I can locate someone who is important to you.
