A Baby Boomer, born on August 9, 1951, now considered a Senior Citizen. That makes me laugh -- I don't feel like a Senior Citizen, but I do take advantage of the discounts!

I retired from the Sheboygan Police Department on my birthday, August 9, 2013. In July of 2016, my husband and I bought the home I grew up in. We moved in on September 23, 2016. I am so happy to be back in my home town of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.

My only child, Rebecca Rose, suffered and died of leukemia when she was "almost five." It's true when they say, you can't understand the pain and grief of losing a child unless you have experienced it yourself. How I wish Find A Grave had been around in 1983 when Becky passed away. Find A Grave has been a true comfort and a blessing to me personally. Such wonderful people I have met here!

My husband is Daniel. We married on September 4, 1999. He is a retired Technical Sergeant of the United States Air Force. He has two wonderful adult daughters from a previous marriage, Melina and Sally. I have two wonderful son-in-laws, Melina's husband Wil, and Sally's husband Chris. I am also a step-grandmother to Liam and Mila, but Sally corrects me and says I'm just grandma, forget the step. Melina and Wil are the parents of Priscilla and Moises. This is a joy I thought I'd never experience -- being a grandmother to four beautiful children!
