Bio

I retired as the Detective Supervisor of the Lumberton North Carolina Police Department 1 Jul 2008 after a 30- year career. I currently work at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home in Saint Pauls, NC. I am a Funeral Director Resident Trainee and will graduate from FTCC in May with my Funeral Directors degree, I will then sit for the state exam and become a fully licensed funeral director. I also own and operate Gray's Creek Restorations, a furniture repair and refinishing business. I am married with 5 children and 2 grandchildren. I began researching my family history right after I retired, I was hooked like a large-mouth bass. I have rattled some skeletons but, it is what it is. I only wish I had started this many years ago and talked to & quot3; the old folks" because some things just can't be found but in the memory of someone who has seen it. My main interests are Sutton, Hall, Davis and Holloman families of NC. I have been amazed to find friends from the past who are really relatives. If you register a cemetery, please put in a good location other than just the city or county name. I could take more photos if I didn't spend so much time trying to find where the cemetery is. Also, when requesting photos, please create a memorial before asking for a photo. I do not take photos unless there is a memorial. And if someone takes a photo for you, please take the time to say thank you.

Permission is required to copy photos for your personal use. I will transfer management of memorials that are not directly linked to my family. For transfers or to provide additional information/links or to correct an error, please use the Edit tab found on each memorial. Click on Suggest a correction or provide additional information. FAG will send me a link directly to the memorial, along with your message and I will make corrections as soon as possible.
