In the late 70's, my Dad wrote an ancestry book for each side of his family. My Mom told me stories of her relatives to the point I knew them, and created magnificent memorabilia scrapbooks. They both gave me a gift of words. It is my goal to keep my ancestors alive by repeating their stories, in whatever way I can. Mostly in written form. If you speak their name, they live. I am a proud member of the Tenold, Priem, Culbertson, Holstad, Strand and Gerlach families.
