Bio

I've always been fascinated with grave sites, visited cemeteries, made rubbings, took photos, etc. and must say that Find-A-Grave is an ideal site.

I've worked on family history projects for over 45 years and will for as long as I can. I'm more than happy to share family history with anyone interested.

The primary names I research are STROOPE, KEA, Pitts, Howton, Trammel, Hopper, Hale, Thetford, CARPER, BARTON, Lyon, Phipps, Griffith, Ellison, Shumate and many allied lines.

When I document a grave site, I try to include some information on the parents, siblings, marriage, etc. hoping this will help someone identify their relative. In some cases, when recording my line, or lines, I've created memorials for as much of the cemetery as I've had access to.

I'm not likely to post obits. I prefer to glean information from any I receive.

I'll be glad to transfer your family member to you. Always remember the FAG # for the memorial page and, of course, your FAG #. PLEASE do not send me a big list of names with no numbers included... thanks... I'm really liberal with transfers, would like to see family manage the memorial pages for their ancestors..

If I have grave site information in error, please contact me so that corrections can be made.

NOT physically able to take cemetery photos for you. Sorry..

"Life brings tears, smiles, and memories: the tears dry, the smile fades, but the memories live on forever."

Recent projects include:

--Gig Harbor and Haven of Rest Cemeteries, Gig Harbor, Pierce County, Washington

--JCC Smith Cemetery in Texas

--Knight of Pythias and Sunset Lane Memorial Park, Port Orchard, Kitsap County, Washington

--Lovington and Resthaven Cemeteries, Lovington, Lea County, New Mexico

--Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood, Pierce County, Washington

--Mount Calvary Cemetery (Santa Barbara Cemetery) , Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico

--Calvary, Old Pioneer and Tacoma Cemeteries, Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington

--Riverside Cemetery in Vassar, Tuscola County, Michigan
