If you have corrections or additions, I am happy to put them in but please, use the edit, correction suggestion to do corrections or transfer requests. I am also happy to transfer management to a responsible relative.

I became interested in genealogy in 1993 after my grandmother passed away. I have collected over 40,000 names 4500 obituaries, and 1500 death certificates for descendants of 1880 Lawrence County, Ohio.

In 2010 I found findagrave and found it to be a excellent site for remembering our ancestors.
I have done considerable work on City Cemetery, Brownsville, Texas, (adding 20,000+ names, in addition to several 1000 more by other volunteers - 25,000+ total), I also have done several smaller cemeteries in Brownsville and Lawrence Co, Ohio.

I am also working to index Brownsville Death Certificates from 1950 to 1982 (images available on familysearch.org up to 1982) and the Brownsville Herald Newspaper obits from 1977 to 2017. Currently have scanned images of 1977 to 2017, with index complete from 1977 to 2017. If you need a Brownsville obit in this time frame, send me a note with the name and death date.

Just found a great webpage, adblock.com. It is shareware, you don't have to pay but it is worth $15-30 to block almost every ad. Stops the ads on findagrave, well worth something to stop them, but also stops adchoices garbage.

Do not post photo requests for City Cemetery. All readable headstones have been posted.

Photo requests for Buena Vista and Rose Lawn in Brownsville requires contacting the cemetery by a family member to obtain plot location information. They will not give the info to a non family member, who knows why, its just "policy".
