Bio

I was born and raised in the Wabash District of Enumclaw, King County, Washington and graduated from Enumclaw High School with the Class of 1955. I first got interested in Geneology in 1957 when I was just 20 years old and have never lost interest.

I am most interested in managing the memorials for my grandparents, their ancestors, their descendants, and their many relatives. My personal goal is to make these memorials as complete as possible. I do also manage memorials for a number of Acquaintances, Family Friends, Classmates, and Enumclaw Teachers. I do not collect memorials of people that I didn't personally know, or at least know of.

On all the memorials that I manage, I try to give a little extra information by adding the U.S. Census Records during that persons lifetime. If you find census records that I missed I would appreciate it if you would contact me with that information. It's always a "Project in Work". I do not normally add obituaries to the Find A Grave memorials that I manage, but I do include them in my Family Trees on Ancestry.com.

If you find a "Photo" or "Census Record" that you would like to have that I have posted on one of the memorials that I manage you are more than welcome to use them in any way you wish. My purpose is not to claim "OWNERSHIP" of anything, but to make as much available for Family, Friends and Genealogy Researchers as I can. None of us can be everywhere so "Helping Each Other" is the only way to meet our individual goals.

I have a family tree on "Ancestry.com" where I try to record all the information on my relatives and ancestors. Please check it out on the "Byron D. Lawrence Family Tree".

If you are looking for more information on the people listed in my "Virtual Cemeteries" ~ check out the following. On each of the two trees listed below I have tried to limit the information gathered to three generations, the individual and their siblings, their parents, and the individuals children. I listed no grandparents, no nephews or nieces, I did it this way so that I could work off all the "Hints" from Ancestry.

Note: I have not tried to do a Family Tree for the "Enumclaw Dance Friends". This is just for the Find A Grave memorials for all the friends that I have made over the years of dancing. Their memory is important to me.

My Life: I consider my life to be an experiment in my own unique life style. I love to go dancing and have managed to do that almost every week since about 1971, it's by far my second favorite form of exercise. Some people find it hard to believe that I have never drank a beer in my life, I have never tasted wine or whiskey. I have had a few mixed drinks but never met one that I liked the taste of. Just can't see any reason to ruin the great taste of Coke, 7Up or Orange Juice. I have never smoked or tried drugs. The last thing that I completely avoid is, Coffee, can't even stand the smell of the stuff. I have never had one swallow of coffee in my entire life. Now the question is: Will this kind of life style cause me to reach for the century mark or will it cause me to die young? I am now 80 years old so the "Die Young" part is out of the equation, the rest of the answer will be available when people look back on my life. Only time will tell.
