The Rev. Dr. Mark D. Isaacs, M.A., M.Div., S.T.M., D.Min., Th.D., Ph.D., D.D. is an active Lutheran clergyman, a preacher-teacher, professor of English Bible and Church History [Martin Luther International Seminary], an Austrian economist and a Jeffersonian Classical Liberal [a True Whig], preacher-teacher, student of the Holy Bible, church historian, theologian, apologist, and comparative religions scholar. Dr. Isaacs is currently a candidate in the D.Litt. Arts and Letters program at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.

Pastor Mark—born in Minneapolis (September 16, 1955), and baptized in Hazel Run, Minnesota— has lived most of his life on the East Coast in Maryland, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Upstate New York. He received a B.A. in Economics from Westfield State College (1980), a Master of Divinity degree (1992) and a Masters of Sacred Theology degree [S.T.M] (2005) from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg.

He earned his Ph.D., Summa Cum Laude, from Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana (2005). Pastor Mark is the author of "Centennial Rumination on Max Weber's `The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism (1904-1905)" (Boca Raton, FL: Universal Publishers, 2005). ISBN 1-58112-310-8.

In May 2007, he received his D. Min. degree from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia.

In December 2008 he received his Th.D. from the Newburgh Theological Seminary. His dissertation was entitled "The Life and Thought of Dr. Albert Schweitzer (1870-1965)."
