I am from a military family. My father served in the US Army for 25 years. When he retired, we settled in McLean, VA. Being an "army brat", I was fortunate to have lived in Japan and Germany during my father's tours of duty. What an experience and education I gained as a child growing up. I am very proud to have been raised in a military family. I first learned about "Find A Grave" about a year ago from a very dear family friend. He was aware that I enjoyed visiting different cemeteries and how I found it so interesting.
