My public tree doesn't have much information, however, my private tree has an incredible amount of photos and stories. Please contact me for the link. I have been researching for a long time. My job affords me lots of time all over the country to do this. I'm currently based in Las Vegas. If there is a specific shared relative you would like researched and possibly photographed, please let me know. I'll add them to my "cemeteries to visit" list. Have scanner and geodata camera, will travel. I'm looking for any information anyone may have or have heard on Philip Nolan, 1771-1803. I've always heard he was related "up the line". in 2018, I have discovered my "pirate ancestor" was actually John Nolan (1805-1843). He was a member of The Texas Navy who were issued Letters of Marque and Reprisal by The Texain Government, turning them into pirates. I have several bounty warrants as well as military warrants proving this information. I had John's probate documents transcribed this year. They are very enlightening. I will share with anyone who asks as long as you acknowledge that history can't be changed. John's brother James was a member of The New Orleans Greys and was killed at The Alamo along with Davey Crockett and others in 1836. According to my research, John Nolan was on The Sloop of War Austin at The Battle of Campeche in 1843. He was later killed in a shootout on 6th St in Austin by the former Secretary of the Navy.
