period! If a memorial is transferred to me and it
already has an obit, it is left on, as I try only to add to a transferred memorial.

Regarding transfers:
I believe that relatives and friends should have any
memorials I maintain transferred to them, regardless
of what the guidelines are. Of course if I am a closer relative, the memorial will not be transferred. If I am a more close friend, it will not be
transferred. If the memorial is of a close friend of mine, and the requester is a distant relative, I might not transfer. Please, please use the edit tab on the memorial you wish transferred to you.
Also, I may ask for some proof of any claims of your relationship or friendship. You'll never know if I will transfer a memorial unless you ask.
