Hi Friends,
The fever to mosey through cemeteries has always been with me. It is justifiable now that I've found this site.

Other than my own genealogy work, my main interest is finding dusty, hand-typed interment records and posting them here. This addiction began when I bought elderly cemetery records for twenty-five cents at a yard sale. The dates were early 1700's to middle 1800's. That was just too, too exciting--well worth a quarter. Old records discovered in county museums and trustee offices have intrigued me ever since.

Other than my close relatives, I will be delighted to transfer anyone you know. Also, please feel free to copy any of the photos credited to me. Isn't sharing what this is all about??

It will take a few years for me to pay forward the good work others have done for me on this site. I am in gratitude for this community.

Dear Ancestor
You did not know that I'd exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you."
