Two points need to be brought up AGAIN: 1) Please ask for transfers within guidelines only and 2) Proofread your submissions for biographies. I will decline poorly written content or raw data (in list format); (bad grammar, punctuation, lack of or wrong use of capitalization, abbreviated words.) Remember that this is on the web for all to view and it should not be sloppy. For those of you who are curious about my involvement with Woodlawn, yes, as a matter of fact, I do work there as a groundskeeper and serve as its archivist.

This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it. Since March 2013 I have taken over management of approximately 25,000 memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills, at his request. As of January 2019 I have taken over management of another approximately 25,000 memorials at Woodlawn Memorial Park (Compton) at the request of WMP, at her request.

I have taken on the management of some of Misty Reynolds's memorials. I do not know why she is no longer on this site. One day I was messaging her, and a few days later, her account was gone.

PLEASE double check your Edits. I keep receiving requests to remove or change links. If you are sure about the links, submit them. If not 100% sure, please no guesswork!

June 2018: I am adding this back into my profile after seeing it copied verbatim on someone else's bio. I deleted this portion in about 2016 and was surprised to see that it had been copied: In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the "Suggest Edit" tab. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos. I HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR OUT OF GUIDELINES TRANSFERS. I HAVE HAD PEOPLE TRANSFER RELATIVES TO ME WITHOUT ASKING.

Findagrave says that if you cannot locate the burial, this is probably not the place for you to create a memorial. I agree and will not usually link to unknown burials. Do your research and find the location. Some locations will never be found and so they belong on sites like Ancestry or FamilySearch. Researchers will be able to find them there. After all, the primary purpose of this site is to FIND a grave. Everything else is just extra.
