Bio

I have been interested in genealogy, cemeteries and history for a very long time. I began researching my family genealogy in 1990, and with the help of a distant cousin found most of what I knew about my family name was wrong. Since then I've added over a thousand people to my family tree, which goes back to Germany, Ireland, Canada, England and now with my husband's tree.. Armenia and Italy.

I am also the caretaker at the North Weymouth Cemetery. I've worked there for over 23 years and love to help people find their ancestors. Because of that desire to share the history that I oversee, I've photographed and posted all slate and marble headstones at the cemetery on Flickr, which can be found via Google or the cemetery's web site: www.sites.google.com/site/nwcemtery/

While looking in other cemeteries, I've taken photos of stones I find interesting. Rather than just sit on these photos, I've started creating FAG pages for them. I have been fortunate enough to have found a number of my ancestors on FAG, and I hope I can do the same for someone else.

I am happy to transfer any of my non-relatives to people who have a direct link to them. Just ask.
