Bio

Inspired by the work done by her great grandfather, Silas Wm. Blizzard (#40386458), while writing a history of his family, my mother, Eleanor Clara Blizzard Black (#36676318) began her own research. She continued until the early 1980's when arthritis and osteoporosis made the work too difficult for her. I had always found the subject interesting but did nothing with it until after inheriting mother's numerous notes. I began my own search to learn more about my ancestors and those of my wife in 1996 but did so on a limited basis for a number of years. Find A Grave has proved to be a wonderful tool! I've "met" so many people here who have been so helpful to me. As I've visited cemeteries and researched names, I've found many of our relatives. I've also created memorials for many other people I've found along the way in the hope that what I've done may be helpful to others who are searching for their ancestors. If I've entered information incorrectly, I apologize
