Bio

I come from a long line of "storytellers" or keepers of family history. I was first inspired to study history and genealogy by my paternal grandfather, Alonza Nelson Parish, when I was a very young child. My maternal grandmother, Margaret Frances "Fannie" Mobley McElveen, was also a genealogist and lived to be almost 102 years old. She remembered stories of just following the Civil War.
Other than Parish, Mobley, and McElveen, I am also researching Simms, Crone, Gay, Taylor, Wellons, Coor, Liles, Rhodes, Todd, Massey, Walker, McMillan, Jordan, Brashear, Coke, Corker, Fowke, Allison, Chambliss, Northington, Chappell, Briggs, McKee, Byrd, Tilden, Sutton, Briggs, Dye, Neil, Towns, Livingston, Clark, Ruffin, Windham, Bracewell, Harden, Mattox, Crouch, Wall, Teague, Ricker, Green, Powell, Wheeldon, and Blair.
I love to help other people find their family and honor their loved ones.
