Born in Louisiana, raised in Harrison County, Texas. Spent many summers on the island of Galveston, Texas with family, and owned a home there for a number of years as an adult. Interested in genealogy for over 45+ years.First let me say, I appreciate the time and efforts people spend to add to this site. It helps all of us who are interested in our family history. I've read ~ Find A Grave's [site] purpose is a grave registration website not a genealogy site ~ Since there is space for a 'bio', it seems like a genealogy site to me and I try earnestly to add only true family links and information.Like everyone here, I have spent MANY HOURS adding information to this site. My submissions are mainly family, ancestors, friends, many of my husband's relatives from our hometown of Marshall, Texas and nearby Harleton, Texas, Gilmer, Texas and some may be unknown persons by many except for being found here. I will gladly transfer a memorial of immediate family members only. At the time of the request, please identify your relationship with the person you want transferred to you. Many of the memorials I've created are people who are either in my husband's tree or mine. Therefore, if you request one of those memorials, I will not be able to accommodate you.I will be glad to link memorials if requested and a memorial number is provided. If the request isn't done as soon as you think it should have been done, KINDLY send your request again thru the EDIT link. I have not purposedly over-looked your request. Photos (if you wish) may be added without my permission or my transfering a memorial to you.
