I believe that every life is a gift from God. The lack of notoriety, fame or worldly fortune should not diminish that gift or the promise of each life. It is often the unsung hero that is held most dear in our memory. We can learn much from people in all walks of life and, I believe, every person deserves to be remembered. Perhaps the greatest gift of humanity is its capacity to love. And as my great-grandmother often said, "Love never dies as long as the heart remembers."|
Please do not add music selections to my listings. Your virtual flowers, kind words and prayers are more than welcome. Thank you.

|Pat Geary||tucker sisters|
my apologies, actually it was the Lemon Sisters that i have an album of...but my dad is 95 and he served all over in WWII...he remembers the Tucker Sisters and said the little one was the cutest and always teased mom about it(said it was too bad he was already married)...oh well...sick humor...e doesn't remember but thinks it was in N Africa or Paris that he saw them at a USO.
I was born in 1950 and grew up listening to the oldies...so i heard some of their songs...it was my parents and grandparents music and i inherited some of their music.

you wouldn't by chance happen to know where Ernestine Ryan is located? i grew up listening to her and have 2 albums of theirs....I would like to visit her grave and pay her thanks for years of enjoyment.
I found a photo that was with a laminated copy of Betty Jane Tucker's obituary on the side of the road. It is a picture of three woman, one of which I believe is her. It is a very old picture and I felt that it should go to a family member. Do you know how I could contact one of them so that I can send it to them?

Do you know if there are any audio recordings that exist of Sammie Lee Tucker and/or her sisters of the 1940's 1950's?

I don't know how this works. ... Ernestine was my grandmother. .. r u family?
i had noticed some of the photos had been taken down, such as your grandfathers. I hope everything is ok, they added so much to the memorials.
Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

What a Beautiful Sunset photo you left for Shady Grove Cemetery-Franklin, Kentucky! I don't live there nor do I know any of those resting in Peace there, but that Sunset was sent from Heaven above for you to photograph. Thank you for sharing it with all of us... Mary
